I usually use the regular stucco mortar, but instead I tried this stucco patch. It goes on well and has a sticky consistency - sticks well to the scratch coat. Due to the stickiness, it does leave some trowel marks, so keep an eye out for them and smooth it out before it dries.
Also, you use quite a bit of the material, so the cost is pretty high. It's very easy to apply and to use. If you're experienced in stucco work, you should stick to the regular stucco mix, not this stucco patch. In general I love rapid set products and this one works good for most patches.
